Design by Jens Risom for Knoll
The first pieces conceived for and manufactured by Knoll, Risom's furniture was described as good, honest furniture design, and helped establish Knoll as an early provider of modern design in America. The chair was originally made with simple maple frames and discarded parachute webbing due to wartime material restrictions.
