DETAILS

In 1966 the Platner Collection captured the "decorative, gentle, graceful" shapes that were beginning to infiltrate the modern vocabulary.

The pieces are created by welding hundreds of curved steel rods to circular frames, simultaneously serving as structure and ornament.
