Discover the Elegance of the Transat Chair by Eileen Gray, A Timeless 1927 Design
Introducing the Transat chair, a masterpiece of functional art designed by the iconic Eileen Gray in the late 1920s. This chaise longue epitomizes the luxury and style of transatlantic steamship travel, bringing the sophistication of the era's deckchairs into the modern day. This chair is a statement of refined relaxation, created for the sun-drenched terrace of Gray’s architectural jewel, the house E1027 in Roquebrune Cap Martin.
The structure is natural beech wood or black lacquered (other colours are available upon request) with an adjustable back cushion upholstered in leather or linen.
